Article by the New York Times

we have been reading Of Mice and Men in class and in 1940 they wrote about the movie that came out. the movie was shown at the Roxy. " Mr. Steinbeck wrote, as you probably are aware, the pathetic, fate ridden drama of two bundle stiffs who dreamed, and kindled other men's dreams, of owning their own little ranch and living off "the fatta the lan'." in this part of the article really describes the way Steinbeck wanted George and Lennie to be seen and has wonderful words describing the book. The movie won many awards. Also they have been many interpretations of the Characters each improving from past mistakes. One of the pretrials of George made him a flat character while another made the character come alive. " Lennie liked the feel of smooth things, but he was son strong his touch killed them-a bird, a mouse, a white and brown puppy and finally Mae, the foreman's wife, who had silky hair." It talks about one of my patterns that I talked about in class about how that Lennie being so gentle killed many things. The article was very interesting to read about the Of Mice and Men movie.
